Celebrated Ashadhi Ekadashi with Devotion and the Experienced the Spirit of Wari

We celebrated Ashadhi Ekadashi with immense devotion, enthusiasm and cultural fervour, acquainting students with the rich spiritual heritage and timeless values of the revered Wari tradition.
A special attraction of the programme was a unique mock interview with a teacher who had undertaken the sacred Wari pilgrimage to Pandharpur. Through her firsthand experiences, she beautifully explained the significance of the pilgrimage and highlighted the values of selfless service, humility, equality and unwavering devotion. She spoke about how countless devotees help one another without any discrimination of caste, creed or social status, making the Wari a true symbol of unity and humanity.
As part of the celebration, students took a solemn pledge to keep not only their surroundings clean but also their minds and hearts free from negativity, thereby embracing the true message of Ashadhi Ekadashi.
Dressed in colourful traditional attire, the students recreated the vibrant spirit of the Wari through a lively Dindi and the traditional Ringan. Their soulful rendition of devotional abhangs filled the school campus with divine fervour. The celebrations culminated in a joyful procession in and around the school premises, with students enthusiastically chanting the name of Lord Vitthal, creating an atmosphere of devotion and togetherness.
The programme concluded with prayers seeking the divine blessings of Lord Vitthal and Goddess Rukmini for peace, harmony and prosperity. The celebration not only familiarised students with Maharashtra's rich cultural and spiritual traditions but also inspired them to

imbibe the values of devotion, compassion, discipline and unity. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all, leaving the students with cherished memories and a deeper appreciation of the Warkari tradition.
