Guru Purnima – A Celebration of Wisdom, Values & Gratitude
This Guru Purnima, we celebrated the occasion in a truly unique way by honouring parents as a child's first Guru.
Our esteemed Guest Speaker, Dr. Mrunalini Newalkar, inspired students with her insightful message that while academic excellence is important, the true purpose of education is to gain knowledge, imbibe values and become lifelong learners—not merely chase marks.
The celebration became even more meaningful as parents of Std. VIII stepped into the role of teachers, conducting engaging sessions on diverse topics including Fashion Drawing, Hindi Literature, Value Education for Character Building, Teenage Distractions, Import & Export, Marathi, Mathematics, Management and Bhartiya Sanskriti & Sanskar Varg. Their expertise, experiences and practical insights made every session enriching and inspiring.
This innovative initiative beautifully reinforced the timeless Indian tradition of respecting every Guru who shapes our lives—from our parents to our teachers.
Heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Mrunalini Newalkar and each of our parent speakers, who were felicitated with mementos by their child as a token of appreciation for making this celebration memorable.
A day that reminded us that education begins at home, flourishes in school and continues throughout life.
