The students of Primary Section celebrated National Mathematics Day with great enthusiasm on 11th Jan, 2024 to honour the great Indian mathematician, Shrinivas Ramanujan.
Different activities related to maths were conducted in each standard by the teachers.
The Maths activities were as follows:
* Std I - Students of Std I made different shapes using different digits.
* Std II - Students prepared patterns using colourful cutout of shapes
and designs.
* Std III - Students of Std III made different clocks with circle and square shapes using waste materials. The clocks were
colourful and decorative. * Std IV Students made the model of Abacus using creative ideas.
Few students shared the importance of maths, how do we use maths in our daily life and information on Shrinivas Ramanujan and his contribution in the field of maths during paripath. Students enjoyed the song on tables and the quiz.
Vidya Prasarak Mandal like a big banyan tree branched out in many educational institutions. As you all know our Sou A. K. Joshi School ranks 1st in Thane with SSC Board syllabus. All members of A.K.
