Students of Primary Section celebrated National Science Day on 28th February 2024 to commemorate Raman effect by Shri C. V. Raman.
Students of Std III and Std IV presented the following activities. Std III students Spoke on the importance of National Science Day and how it is celebrated all over the country in schools and colleges. A quiz was conducted wherein the students enjoyed guessing and answering the questions. A song based on science was sung elaborating the magic and the logic challenges and faith in science.
There was a motivational speech stating the contributions of APJ Abdul Kalam, The Missile Man of India and his vision for India which was rooted in science technology and education thus instilling in students the values of innovation, determination and patriotism.
Std IV students mentioned the discoveries for example gravity, telephone, electric bulb, mobile phone, T.V, Internet, train etc and their inventors. The students made it interesting by making sounds of telephone, train, aeroplane and reading note worthy details of the discoveries.
Our students also proudly read about our Vedic scientists i.e. Rushi Munis (Sages) e.g. Charak Rishi, Agastya Rishi and others about their contribution to mankind. Students enjoyed listening and knowing about our Vedic scientists.
