Secondary Section: Guest lecture for Std X : Help Age India, NGO

On Monday 10th July, 23 guest lecture was conducted for a Std. X to create social awareness among students, on Help Age India, a NGO who focused to help elderly people from 1978. Mrs. Snehal Panditrao, Sr. Executive. of Help Age India enlightened students with brief information and videos on the work of Help Age India.

Following points were explained:

1. Foundation of Help Age India


2. Four projects under Help Age India:


• Mobile Medical Units.


• Free Cataract Surgery


• Adoptation of grandparents


• Old age homes

Elderly people should be independent , one should give time, respect and love to them this message was given through lecture. Resource person also encouraged students to take active part in the NGO activities. There was a good interaction between resource person and students.
